The main places we’ve visited are Korora and Sealy (Forest Pier) lookouts, Dorrigo and Bellingen. There are some great walking tracks in these areas, catering for different levels of fitness. I hope you enjoy a glimpse of what we’ve seen.
Korora lookout is located in Bruxner Park Flora Reserve in the Orara East State Forest.
The nearby Forest Sky Pier at Sealy lookout is located on an escarpment 310 metres above Coffs Harbour, only 9km from the city centre. It projects 21.6 metres beyond the original lookout and offers an expansive vista encompassing Coffs Harbour city, its foreshore and marina, Solitary Islands Marine Park, surrounding mountain ranges and the coastline far into the distance.
Dorrigo is a small town on the Waterfall Way, located on the Northern Tablelands. We explored the World Heritage-listed Gondwana Rainforest and enjoyed the Wonga walk circuit.
Bellingen is approximately halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, located on the banks of the Bellinger river. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, but for some reason I only took one photo of our friends’ back garden. We might have to go back before we leave Coffs Harbour!
