It’s OK not to be prefect

Did you spot the error in the title? It was intentional and included just to show you that it is OK not to be perfect! And if you look carefully, even the photo is wonky.

I decided recently that my desire to achieve perfection with my blog would result in me never launching it!

I believe I’ve always strived for perfection, it’s been something I’ve done for as long as I can remember. Probably there’s a lot of therapy to sort that out. But that said, I think it always stood me in good stead with my career and I always managed to draw that ‘line in the sand’ to ensure I never missed a deadline.

However, do we really need to be perfect, especially when combining a hobby with sharing information to masses of people (or even the three or four who might read this blog)? I don’t think so.

If you’ve come here looking for pixel-perfect photos, great grammar, and creative content, you might be disappointed. But for those who just want to learn a little more about our cruising adventures, how we’re using our boat, and some of our adventures, then this site might be of interest to you.

    Many thanks!

    1. I believe there’s a free WordPress option, including hosting, that guides you to creating a blog. https://wordpress.com/
There are probably other sites that offer the same, eg wix. Good luck with your blogging.

  2. Didn’t notice the error!! It’s wonderful that you and Robert have the same passion for ‘messing about in boats’ and I hope that your big adventure of cruising to Qld. is not too much postponed. We are all in the same boat at the moment, feeling a bit frustrated that is. Best wishes from May.

  3. Looking forward to reading about your adventures. Wishing you safe seas and great experiences!

  4. Congratulations, Pam. Great stuff. Looking forward to reading your blog on a regular basis.
